How to get started
Bring your ideas. We’ll start with the right questions and work toward a plan for your home.
Tell us about your projectShare your location, a few photos, and what isn’t working in your space. You don’t need a finished plan to start the conversation.
Talk through the space, scope, materials, and your priorities. Confirm what the project includes before committing to the work.
Agree on timing, access to your home, and the decisions needed along the way. Scheduling depends on the scope and material availability.
Discuss how the finished work will be reviewed, including a walkthrough and any final items, as part of your project plan.

I'm Kong Thao, founder of UCDAT LLC and a licensed Minnesota residential building contractor.
I'm someone who takes pride in doing things with purpose and paying attention to the details. I value quality, craftsmanship, good design, and finding the right solution for each project.
UCDAT is personal to me because it represents more than just the work we do. It reflects the values I believe in, the people who are part of the team, and the way we choose to represent the company. I take that responsibility seriously, and I hope to build a reputation through UCDAT that our team and our families can be proud of for years to come.
UCDAT LLC is a family-owned residential remodeling and renovation company focused on improving homes through quality workmanship, thoughtful design, and attention to detail.
We take on residential remodeling, renovations, property improvements, cosmetic transformations, and both interior and exterior projects. Whether the goal is to refresh a space or completely transform a property, we focus on creating finished results that are functional, well-crafted, and visually complete.
Craftsmanship is an important part of how we approach our work. We pay attention to proportion, materials, finishes, layout, and the smaller details that can make a meaningful difference in the final result.
We also believe homeowners should feel confident throughout the entire process. Clear communication, respect for the home, accountability, and consistency are standards we expect on every UCDAT project.
Our reputation matters deeply to us. Every project carries the UCDAT name, and we intend to build that name through work we are proud to stand behind.

Good questions
Have something else in mind? Reach out and tell us about it.
Ask about your projectStart with kitchens & bathrooms, interior renovations, repairs & finishing. If your project doesn’t fit neatly into a category, describe what you need and we can discuss whether it’s a fit.
Bring the project you actually have in mind. Tell us which areas need attention and what you want to keep. We can discuss whether the work is a fit around those specific needs.
Start dates and duration depend on the work, the current schedule, and materials. Include your preferred timing in your inquiry so we can discuss availability. A date is confirmed as part of the project agreement.
No finished plan is needed for an initial conversation. Photos, rough measurements, or a few examples you like are helpful. If you already have plans or materials in mind, mention those too.
Include your city or neighborhood in your inquiry, or call to confirm your location before planning a visit.
